what image quality do you use for the Nikon D90?
I just upgraded my Nikon D40 to a nikon d90. I’m using a SanDisk Extreme III 20 MB/s 2Gb Sd card, but i am not sure what picture quality to save it as. By default its under JPEG Normal. I do mostly family indoor pictures and out door ones but mainly indoors with low light. Now im wondering what format should i use to save my pictures as im not too worried about memory space and i dont edit my pictures too much.
JPG FINE for most family candid shots is always good. This gives alot of flexibility to edit or just look at little details. You may wish to increase your editing skills after upgrading cameras. Raw + Jpg fine is what I would say shoot anytime there may be something going on that has value to it (Value being it is only going to happen once, Others may want copies for themselves and they are more of the artistic types, or Legal documentations due to the detail available.)
