Olympus SP-800UZ or Nikon Coolpix P100? What is the better choice?

Can anybody give me a useful hint concerning the two cameras? The technical details I already know, but has anybody experience with these two? There is something that still keeps me from buying the Nikon P100: Apart from some really convincingly good tests some people stress that the Zoom sometimes freezes or the fotos are somewhat mediocre. The Olympus has much better critics but doesn´t have audio with the video. Alright, I know the Zoom function is not a must since there are also videocameras specialised in this field available, and there is no camera available in this price spectrum that has all functions but can anybody recommend me one of these two cameras? And if, why? Many people keep telling that either Nikon or Canon are the ones to go for but the Olympus might also be worth thinking about it…….

I’ve been using the P90 for about 7 months & haven’t had one problem with it. The P100 is a tad better than
the P90. The zoom works great. I’ve taken photos of airplanes in flight that turned out sharp. Even a pic of the full moon !
You don’t have full use of the zoom when you shoot a video. And with the P90, you’re limited to 25 minutes shooting time. These are bridge cameras & their main function is to shoot stills.
BTW, Nikon & Canon control about 80% of the market.
