What’s the best DSLR for low light?

I know they say the differences are negligible, but follow me. With Pentax K100D, sony a200 and Olympus E-510, they have the built in IS, which is cool. With Nikon, you can get IS in some lenses of the D40, but the base ISO is also 200, which means its a step higher at its least noisiest level. The Canon has the IS lenses, but if you look at photos by them, it consistently has the best look to it (IMO) at high ISOs, so its pretty fast also.

I want a camera for low-light situations. I’m gonna get a prime lens either way, but I wanted to you you guys’ opinions on what would be the best camera for low light (or if you guys think the differences I’m mentioning are negligible).
P.S. I’m looking at an EOS 350, if that matters. Megapixels past 6 are no concern for me.
Ara (and everyone else): The D300, although VERY VERY nice, is WAY out of my league. Its major league, and I’m playing single-A ball :-) I’m just letting everyone know.

I don’t have any experience with the Sony, Canon or Olympus cameras but my Pentax K100D Super is great at ISO 1600 coupled with an f2.8 & f1.4 lenses in low light. It does hunt for focus at times in low light, it’s not a problem with stationary objects though. You probably won’t go wrong with any DSLR and a f2.8 or faster lens in low light shooting.
