I recently purchased a Nikon D80, but all of my pictures are turning out dark no matter the settings, why?
I have a external flash that fires and all my images on the computer look “ok” but still darker than they should be, but when printed they are VERY dark (as if no flash at all was used and very under exposed). I see this has been a common problem with many who own this camera from internet searches I’ve done, but what is the solution. Even outside shots look dark.
What kind of flash are you using, try taking picture without it and see if that helps. Some flashes will not work properly, and older flashes can even damage your camera if you don’t know their trigger voltage.
